A fnish! And New Years Eve pics.

Okay, first I will share my finish. This is my second Downey charity quilt I have done. I love the fabrics they sent to me. Very fun and vibrant! I really am so pleased with how it turned out and the quilting just turned out so good if I do say so myself! I do feel bad that this is a couple weeks later than the turn around they like but the holidays got in the way and then Susan got sick and I flared up badly, just so many things got in the way but now it is done and I am taking a break from the Downey quilts and working on a few things I have going and a new wall hanging that I have an idea for and sketched out yesterday. Here are a few pictures, over alls and up close shots.

Now about New Years Eve. It was sooo much fun! We had friends over and Susan had some friends over and we played games and watched the ball drop. We played Guesstures for hours. It was the first time we had ever played and it was a blast. After the ball dropped we broke out the Rock Band and played that for quite awhile and ended the day at 4am. That's the latest I've stayed up in years! It was just so much fun. Here are some photos from that night. Mostly just the kids being silly and us playing Guesstures and Rock Band. If you've never played Guesstures and you are a family that loves games, or if you do a game night with friends I highly recommend it. I would also recommend Pictionary Man. Tomorrow we have another game night going on here. It should be a ton of fun! Anyways here are some New Years Eve pictures.

Me and Susan. As you can see, even at 16 she is still in a biting phase.

Playing Rock Band....

Our friends daughter fell asleep. I can't believe he let her sleep on him like this!

We got quite a bit of snow that night and it was coming down fast. Here are the kittys eating their dinner. I got a kick out of how fast they were getting covered with snow.

Now, about the year of the Wii Fit. I am still plugging along. I had a horrible flair last week and could not do it for 3 days in a row but got back at it lightly after that and now I have been feeling okay, much better than I was but I still am trying not to push it. I'm stretching and doing balance games and jogging and boxing when I can. My goal with this is to keep my fibromyalgia pain down because when it flairs that is when I have to take some high powered pain pills and I really dislike that so I'm trying to do what I can to avoid that. The problem I'm finding is the Wii Fit seems to be aggravating it a lot. I'm going to keep at it just to make sure it's not the weather but I may not be able to box and jog very often at all and I'm thinking I better get a treadmill for walking. I sure wish the Wii Fit had a walking program. Maybe in their next update huh. Well, I need to get going. I have some quilting I want to get done!

Bye!

Don't give up Jamie! I finally tried the Wii fit yesterday. My tummy is sore this morning, so I know it did something!
Your quilt looks great. I need to get my butt in gear and get mine finished and sent back in. I've been slackin' too long! LOL no more excuses!
It does look like you had a lot of fun in the pics.
