Sewing for the boy

So I've really gotten into sewing for Alec, so much that I have signed up for an e course all about making clothes for kids! I really enjoy it and right now I am really having fun sewing with knit fabrics making him t-shirts.

This shirt was made using a new pattern by Rae at Made by Rae. If you recognize the name it may be because I have said several times on here how much I love her big butt baby pants pattern and I have been making those as well.

And a couple shots of them in action.

He just turned 6 months old and is already crawling and pulling himself up to a standing position. Getting so big so fast!

This is the t-shirt I made from the Flash back skinny T pattern.

And a photo of him wearing it.

It's a great pattern. Very simple and if you have a fear of knits she takes them away with her great detailed instructions.

And guess who got a year older?

Yep, that would be me!

I have more to share in another post. We have been repainting Susan's room for Alec and it will be a den as well. I'll share photos when I am done.

Bye!
